Georgette hails originally from the Denfield area. She spent her early years, enjoying the farm life. Always eager to help others, it was not surprising she decided to explore a career that would enable her to do so. Through her co-op program in high school, Georgette was able to sample the life of a massage therapist. Georgette went on to graduate from The D'Arcy Lane Institute of Massage Therapy and has been a registered massage therapist since July, 2005. Her career at Body Essence began shortly thereafter.

Georgette thrives on the knowledge that she can aid in the reduction of tension her clients’ are taxed with, from day to day, wear and tear, on their bodies. She uses Swedish massage as a therapeutic means to promote relaxation and pain relief. She is confident that massage therapy is an effective alternative treatment, which is most beneficial to those who suffer conditions, such as; tension headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome, muscle aches and strains and tendonitis. In the spring of 2006, Georgette became a certified foot reflexologist through the Ontario College of Reflexology. She uses reflexology to promote an overall sense of well being by enhancing reflexes located in the foot. These reflexes correspond to certain areas of the body and encourage the body to self heal.

Georgette will not only give you the best massage you have ever had, she will personalize your treatment. If you need specific stretches or exercises that will extend the benefits of your massage, she will share these with you. Sherri Howie is the best kept secret in our quiet, just off the beaten path, small, town of Delaware. She is a past graduate of Marvel. There she excelled, not only in the basics, but colour and chemistry as well! With fashion on her lips and a pair of scissors on her hip, she struck out to make a difference. Sherri used her artistic vision to make a name for herself in this industry. She was scooped up by Devog Hair Academy where they enlisted her to teach, her skills in colour, to many others. For six years, she had this wonderful opportunity to give back. This was very satisfying to her.

As family life became even busier, Sherri chose to bring her talents to Body Essence. Here you will see her confidence in a variety of ways. Alyssa graduated from Elegance in June 2010, with her esthetics certificate. She has been with us at Body Essence since. Her talents in the nail industry are quite remarkable. Resin nails by LCN are her unique trademark. This product excels beyond the usual acrylic and gel. Her sculpting capabilities, make glue on tips, obsolete, in this salon! Her need for strict sanitation and client safety is evident in her insistence of hand filing with individual personal files, or disposable implements. Alyssa has a fairly large repetoire of services; waxing, manicures, pedicures, resin nails, and facials. Her personal pride shines through with everything she does, so all are pleased.

Alyssa comes from a large family, who make their living off the dairy farm. She brings a warm sense of family to Body Essence. Acquired clientele love it and new clientele feel the personalized service, and can’t wait to return for to this all embracing experience. Joanna Rogister is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (RHN) .  As an RHN, Joanna feels her role is to educate her clients, on the importance of  nutrition. She will help you understand how nutrition  plays a major role in the common goal of achieving a healthy, balanced life.  Rather than just providing clients with diet plans, Joanna works with her clients to  determine the imbalance, that resulted in the present health issue.  A client’s medical and personal history is reviewed along with their symptoms, their diet and their concerns.  Recommendations are then made, that are as individual as the client themselves. Joanna is very conscientious.Through advice regarding nutrition, supplements, and possible lifestyle changes, she truly feels whe will help you make a significant change. 

Joanna specializes in helping woman progress through the different stages in their lives, in particular perimenopause, menopause and when breast health issues arise
